Veneers in Peterborough

The front surfaces of the teeth may need to be filed down slightly to make room for the veneers so that the new teeth, when covered, do not protrude too much. We can also can provide micro-thin porcelain veneers which require no tooth preparation whatsoever. If cosmetic considerations require temporary veneers in the meantime this can be easily done.

The procedure involves two appointments - the first, at which we file the surfaces of the teeth, if necessary, and take an impression for the porcelain veneer laboratory, and the second, two weeks later at which time we bond the veneers to the teeth. Proviso: Porcelain veneers are very durable but are prone to damage just as normal teeth are. And because veneers are glued or bonded to the front of the teeth it is advisable to avoid really crunchy foods.

For further information on porcelain veneers just call. We are only too happy to give advice and help you choose the best way forward for you.
